Coming soon — before Christmas 2026.

Run your Daytona USA cabinet without its original Model 2 hardware. The m2m3 kit replaces the Model 2 CPU stack, the I/O board and the sound board with an M3 board that runs Daytona USA natively, plus an I/O board that plugs straight into the original harness. No wire is cut or rewired.

Compatibility: all Daytona USA cabinets, except motion (moving) cabinets.

The cabinet stays original: steering force feedback through the original drive board, the original arcade monitor, lamps, coin meters, controls, preamp and amplifier are all kept.

In the box

  • M3 board (Rockchip RK3288), m2m3 software preinstalled: boots straight into the game
  • Assembled I/O board with a programmed Arduino Mega 2560: direct replacement for the Sega 837-10539 board, same size, same mounting holes, same connector names (CN1, CN2, CN3, CN5, CN6)
  • Plastic mounting brackets
  • Bilingual installation manual (English/French)

Download the installation manual (PDF)

Features

  • Original force feedback through drive board 838-10646
  • HDMI input with on-board converter to the original 24 kHz arcade monitor, composite sync generated on the board
  • Stereo audio output (RCA) to the original preamp
  • Linked races between cabinets over Ethernet (one kit per seat)
  • ROMs, best times and test menu settings on a microSD card (FAT32 or exFAT)
  • TEST and SERVICE buttons on the board

Not included

  • ROMs: use your own Daytona USA ROM files on a microSD card
  • 12 V DC power supply for the M3 (9 to 15 V)
